Riding Alpe de Zwift without reaching level 12

Hi,
I’m a new user and currently at level 9. Today, I was playing around with the different courses and I clicked on Road to the Sky, which I believe takes you to Alpe Du Zwift. It allowed me to go to the ride, even though I’m only in level 9. I didn’t do the ride since I was only testing and didn’t pair my trainer. Is this possible? Could it be a glitch? Anybody experienced something similar?

Due to Covid and the surge, they reduced the level needed for the Alpe to 5 or 6!

Pandemic restrictions are level 5 for the jungle and level 6 for the Alpe.
