Replace Zwift Ride seat and handlebar bolts with wing bolts?

We’re sharing one Zwift Ride between two riders, so we adjust the seat and handlebar height every time we switch. Using the included frame key for all three bolts gets tedious, especially when the handlebar is set low and gets in the way of rotating the frame key.

Has anyone replaced the seat post and handlebar height bolts with wing bolts or thumb screws? That would leave only the handlebar reach adjustment needing the frame key and make swapping positions much quicker.

Any downsides or recommended hardware?

I haven’t heard of anyone doing this with a Zwift Ride, but the height adjustment bolts are grub screws, so it might be challenging to find a perfect match. One thing I have done before is use JB Weld to glue in a hex wrench, and hex wrenches can be obtained with a plastic handle. You could grind the wrench to a shorter length and then glue it into the original grub screw’s fitting.

What you need is another Zwift Ride, all ready to swap over

Yeah, that’s a good suggestion. I’ll look into it.

Buying a second Zwift Ride as @Graeme_Sayer suggested would certainly solve the problem too, but I’ll file that one under “Expensive Solutions”.
