I have a brand new purchased in September 2026 Zwift ride version two frame. I am attaching it to my Wahoo kicker core original version. I have set up everything with a friend’s help. The seat post is not budging up despite our removing the screw in the back and trying to lift it or move the seat post forward. I don’t want to take a mallet to my new frame. But why would this be a problem right out of the box? help most welcome
Usually whacking the back of the seat with your hand is sufficient. It does tend to stick a bit after the grub screw has been tightened.
Thank you Paul. I didn’t want to hurt my hand, so I ended up tapping lightly w/a soft headed mallet. It worked when I tapped the front of the post. Was this an issue with the original Zwift Ride or just the new one?
I only have direct experience with the V1 model but I guess it’s the same.

I had a new Zwift Ride yesterday and have had exactly the same issue, really thought my seat was faulty to start as I couldn’t budge it.
Following advice from another thread on here, I also gave it a good whack, and then am able to adjust.
