Can we please please please get the Pacers to change routes more often?
I really enjoy riding with them. But there are only so many times I can do laps of Volcano Route, The Big Ring, Tempus Fugit or Watopia’s Wasteband. Same goes for the routes in the other worlds
There are a ton of different and new routes in Zwift lately but the bots never change.
Let’s get some variety!
Same with Sugar Cookie and the blast at 5.5w/kg up the start of epic KOM and the bridge.
A lot of the group ends up being spat out the back by 5 seconds or even more then they have to teleport back. Some riders just don’t even bother to chase, they slow down and wait until the robopacer gets over the bridge and then they teleport back again. Constance goes at 4.6w/kg and seems to get a big draft benefit over that bridge.
That shows the fault in the excessive increase in robopacer power on longer uphill sections in comparison with the “Col du Tempus”.
I think you’ll have a riot if you suggest taking away Tempus Fugit. 
People want their 120km in 3 hours with 2.5w/kg like in the old days.
Tempus is great if you want to “switch off” and just churn steadily along and not worry about pace / gradient changes. I usually ride with Jacques but riding with Coco on a flat route, sitting up and catching up with text and email messages etc is very time-efficient.
But some variety would be good too.

New routes for the bots. Woohoo.
Crit City (Bell Lap) would be a good replacement for the old Volcano circuit.
Wonder how many laps of that people could handle for 2-3 hours.
Bologna “Time Trial Lap” would also be an interesting one to have as a completely different alternative to the usual routes.
I’m deliberately suggesting those special worlds because they are so different.
It would be really, REALLY, great if the Bots that operating in the other worlds could all be in one world. I almost always start with Miguel for 10 minutes of warmup, then another 10 or so with Maria and so on. Having them spread around means I have to end the ride and start up another ride. It would be much better and I think you’d have more riders on the off Watopia bots rides if they were in one world at a time.
This is a cruel twist…
I’ve ground out Lord knows how many hours with bots on the same few routes to earn enough drops to pay for upgrades and then acquire a Halo bike, having started the upgrade phase with virtually no drops after buying the SL8. I’ve got to 9.9 million drops and can practically taste the Halo bike.
And now, when I no longer need the drops multiplier from bot rides, Zwift make the routes interesting!
@David_Parkinson_Herd Pacers are still fun to ride with, even if you don’t need the extra drops! I don’t care about drops, and I ride with Pacers multiple times a week.
I’ll likely still do some bot rides, particularly on the newer, hillier routes. But for now, I’m looking forward to ticking off a few route badges on the Halo, which I bought today!
