Or said it is completly legal (Zwift Insider)

If someone takes issue with an unintended use of the system, they should take issue with an intended use of the system?
Youâre drawing equals signs in all kinds of places where they maybe donât fit.
Fun one - âto upgrade the tron your total elevation gain on the platform must be 25,000m beyond your total elevation descendedâ.
Robo pacers, climb portals and coffee breaks are publicly available and promoted by Zwift
Sleeping while you upgrade TTs and then sitting on the sofa while you constantly do alpe / ven top drops are not anything Iâve seen promoted by Zwift.
Do you think a sign of the level of the bike would be useful? I understand that there are hundrews of bikes and level options for textures but a small sign for the others racers to know would be great. And this level beibg changed fo 0 if the race is configured as neutralized as WTRL and ZRL are advertizing.
Thank you for the bike upgrade update. I never rode so many days in a row and doing different scenarios to get drops (robopacer), portal climbs (aethos) and big-spin. Before i almost only raced.
I think that bike upgrade should be someking of linked to racer performance, but its ok. We will farm those runes, sorry drops!!!
So if itâs not promoted by Zwift itâs considered cheating?
Late joining the Big Spin is also frowned upon by many, considered cheating by a few and not promoted by Zwift, but I did read you doing that to get the BMX.
Late join is a Zwift feature for group rides - they chose to allow Big spin to have late join. And Iâve done 47 spins and donât have the BMX yetâŚâŚ.
They also chose to let people teleport to the top of a mountain.
Except for the folks they banned for doing it⌠which is a factor that most people seem to be ignoring.
You keep saying that, but I havent seen or heard anything about that.
I think about the intent behind those features, which I canât say with any authority, but I think late join in Big Spin is something that they want to enable, and gaming the upgrade system by teleporting to your pal at the top of AdZ is not. The latter is something that has always been possible but did not matter, and then they changed the economy so it matters, which was not anticipated when the feature was released. The intent of the upgrade feature is to get people to ride more, but instead we got people exploiting it for profit without riding.
I hope you also ride the Buffalo bike so your Zwift speeds are more aligned with IRL speeds, because itâs certainly frowned upon in the greater cycling community to have all these Zwift-inflated distances logged and counting towards your weekly mileage!
Teleporting to the top of the Alpe or sitting along the side of the road does not break the terms of service, despite how you may feel.
Whoâs been banned for doing it? Name names.
He is not Zwift. You should be aware too that people see who is doing this on ADZ and Ventop and word gets around along with screenshots.
Late join with big spin ride was the start and encouraged people into the idea. Now itâs bike upgrades for racing and everyone is doing this. Most of the big teams are up to this. Heck you have 60yo strugglers now with racing scores at 800 and A grade. Folks at 360km/h downhill on Strava ADZ segments. Ladies doing 290km rides at 64km/h average speed and Zwiftpower weight recorded at 180kg.
I donât see too many pros averaging 64km/h over that distance, let alone ordinary folks at â180kgâ⌠which of course is downhill weight doping when normal weight is 70kg.
I hope the teleports and descent hack gets blocked soon.
I got banned for naming names so I wonât be naming names. ![]()
That shows the rides people have logged and saved, but not the ones they might have done and deleted (ie teleports and descents).
That said, unless you can ride hidden, people see who is doing the teleports and descents so you canât completely hide that. Especially when you are with friends and team mates chatting about your exploits.
Someone got DQed for acquiring the Tron for the Zwift Academy finals by using a bot, a few years ago iirc.
The irony is, everyone in that final (just like other races and TTs), should be on the same bike or at least have frame/wheel performance neutralised.
