Why not neutralize the frames. Plus they should all have a color slider. That way everyone could ride whatever bike they have IRL. Then have the opportunity to put whatever drivetrain, tires, wheels. You could go as far as crank/cassette ratios. Handledars even.
Any racing games I’ve played, you can keep upgrading/altering your car. Why not use your drops to upgrade or alter your bikes.
My IRL bike, I have gravel wheels and road wheels. Just spit balling?

Unlocking colorways for existing bikes would be a huge improvement without a huge effort. I bet a lot of level 100 riders would be happier to unlock red paint on a Venge than with the other bits of garage clutter they’ll never use. Like every 10 levels unlock a colorway on a popular ride like the Venge, Aethos, Scott Addict RC, Felt AR, Cadex Tri.

Or make the SL7 faster than Venge. It is IRL quicker and Specialized even says it is more aero.
Riding with people who have it, that’s definitely a very fast bike.

Like a 365x ADZ challenge? (365 laps of ADZ in a year).
Note a couple of Zwifters did it a few years ago. I joined them for quite a lot of those laps.
They were even featured in Cycling Weekly, the special “Indoor Extreme Riding”.
