Yes, I registered the day it was available on Zwift.

I completed the new Mayan 8 route today. I received credit for the route completion, XP, and the badge, but it did not seem to count towards my route completions for the September 5 Route mission (should show 2/5 but still at 1/5).

Exact same issue as Tom and Dan above.
Registered for the mission earlier in the week and rode an older route today which counted towards the mission. I then rode Mayan 8 this evening which gave me the route completion badge but didn’t count towards the monthly mission goal.

I’ve done 4 routes now on Zwift since the September Mission started.
Climb Portal in Watopia - did not count
Mayan 8 in Watopia - did not count
LIbby Hill After Party in Richmond - Counted
Climb Portal in France - did not count.
Only 1 ride on Zwift has counted towards the mission.
I know it’s an easy mission to complete, but this is broken.

Thanks. I need to start checking routes using other sites because just listing them by elevation doesn’t always help, some low elevation routes still have hard climbs. Temple Trek is listed as 1/5 and low elevation yet still has a 7% climb.
I’ve had the same, I’ve done Mayan 8 and Radio Tower Rendezvous and neither counted. The old routes which I’ve done ( repeated) have counted
Itza Climb Finish counted but Mayan 8 did not. I am glad I found these posts as I will focus on different routes for the time being. I am glad as several of the latest routes involve big climbs.

I rode yesterday, and after I completed the ride, I checked the monthly mission - 4/5 routes complete.
I did not ride today, and received an email that I completed the mission. I just logged in, and it shows 5/5 routes complete.
I guess Zwift credited the Mayan 8 route retroactively.

Slightly off topic, but my Jan 25 badge has ended up in the 2024 list (together with the Jan 24 equivalent). Was that intended?
