Thanks, I’ll go back and research. I guess I thought I had finished the route and then I took a turn to round up the miles for XP
July’s mission has been added to this thread:
The description says “Complete two different routes in France OR Paris”.
Apparently completing the 2 Paris routes does not award the July mission.
I done one paris one France got the mission badge but no sign of iconic kit
To be clear - The description in game says “in France and/or Paris”.
Riding both of the Paris routes SHOULD award the mission badge.
It does not.
I did get the badge by riding the two Paris routes.
Edited to add: This was last week.
Interesting.
I did one as a free ride, which gave me 50% completion for the mission, and the other joining Yumi. I went under the banner twice ( once to start, once to finish ). The Holo pacer showed up when I went under it the 2nd time, so I know I completed the route. I finished the ride right after that, since I had done a climb portal before hand.
I did both as free rides.
It’s too bad your second ride with Yumi didn’t register. There must be some glitch.
I’ll try a free ride later this week on the other Paris route.
August mission details have been added to this thread:
I registered for the monthly mission and rode this morning (1 August - 6:46am Sydney time) but got no credit for my climbing. Is this a bug or a feature?
Hi @Patrick_Gunning welcome to Zwift forums!
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. I looked at your server log history and can confirm you registered for the August monthly mission from the game’s home screen yesterday.
What’s odd is that during that session (running on an iPhone15) the game wasn’t paired to your Wahoo trainer, nor you did not get credit for any distance or elevation. More on this below.
I also noticed that you typically Zwift on a Windows PC, is that correct? What likely happened here is that you had two sessions going concurrently - on on your iPhone and the other on your PC. Concurrent logins can create all sorts of weird issues like you not seeing credit for distance or climbing elevation.
If the PC is your main Zwifting computer - I’d suggest you uninstall the main Zwift app from your iPhone so you can avoid concurrent sessions completely. You can and should run the Zwift Companion app on the iPhone, though - there will be no conflict between the main app and ZC.
And here is month of September, new mission available, email to all users has been sent with the link to this thread (Your Week Ahead), but @manda_F seems to forgot to add it here
FWIW - Doing a Climb Portal does NOT count towards the September Route Hunter Mission.
Unless you have to ride until the route indicator in the HUD shows “Complete”, which you do not have to do to get credit for doing the climb.
September’s Mission has been added to this thread:
Dang, suffering from “Old” I need more flat routes. Can anyone suggest routes along the flavor of Tempus Fugit so I can try for this mission?
3 easy ones -
Volcano Circuit both clockwise and counterclockwise.
Volcano Flat Route
Tick Tock
Also if you move the Trainer Difficulty setting to zero (all the way to the left) then all routes will feel flat.
If you have Zwift Companion app installed, you should be able to go into routes and list routes from all worlds by low-high elevation.
A few not mentioned already include Neokyo Crit Course, Twilight Harbor and The Fan Flats.
@manda_F -
Not only do Climb Portal rides not count towards the mission ( Climb Portal IS a route you select, so it should count ), but the new routes apparently do not count towards mission completion either. I rode Mayan 8 this morning, and the count is still showing as 0/5 complete.
