the tiny lightning bolt icon next W/kg (indicating a power meter is used) is really hard to see in a race or competitive group ride/tour. the lack of an icon (zpower rider) is even harder to see. it would be nice if the icon was a little bigger and had more contrast, so you could notice in a split second, they way you can differentiate A>B>C>D categories quickly by color. sometimes you only have few seconds to make a decision, as the zPower rider comes screaming by you at 8w/kg, do I chase or not?
not trying to demean all the zPower riders, but for the sake of fair competition there should be an easy way to identify them mid race. i won’t go as far as saying give them their own category, but at least this is a compromise.
