Macbook Pro M4 - Overheating?

I have a MacBook Pro M4 and it seems to run Zwift pretty well - average 100 fps in Ultra.

However a third party monitoring app I have (Cleanmymac) shows the machine is running very hot (90-95 degrees), as soon as Zwift is turned on to the landing page.

It seems not to trigger the fans - and even when I use a third party controller to run the fans on full blast it sits at 75-80 degrees.

Anyone else see the same issues? Is it a problem?

I haven’t heard that reported before about the MacBook Pro M4 and my M1 Pro system does not do that. Absurd high framerates on the home screen could be managed by switching the display to 60Hz in the Mac display settings which might help it run cooler.

Thanks yes after doing that it seems to run in the mid 60s on the landing page…

Will try for a ride tomorrow!

Mid 60s for my ride today too - thanks for the advice.
