There is a bug with the rider list when you late join an event.
When you late join an event you only see a small subset (like 1 in 20) of the total group around you on your rider list. Conversely, the majority of other riders around you don’t see you on their rider list either. Also, your position number in the group never updates and stays as ‘–’.
This bug was introduced mid last year and predates the ‘optimisations’ from a couple of months ago that stuffed a lot of things up.
