I am extremely happy about the integration with Garmin where outdoor riding at least gives you some XP. Does anyone know if elevation from outdoor rides will count toward challenges such as Everest?
Any streak revival due to historically loaded outdoor rides? Would bump me up considerably
No, outdoor rides counting towards streaks is a āfrom here on outā type of feature

Outdoor rides will not count towards in-game challenges. The new functionality includes outdoor activities counting towards fitness metrics in ZC, XP, and streaks.
Yes thatās what Shuji said over here:
Itās a user retention feature. Keeping a streak is a motivator to keep the Zwift subscription throughout the summer rather than starting fresh in the fall. Everyone has a week in the year where itās hard to keep that streak (sickness, Xmas, spring break, other holiday etc) so this gives a way to keep the streak going to a high number (and need to keep the subscription running in the summer).
Seems like another āeveryone gets a trophyā situation and having a long consecutive streak has now been devalued, not that anyone cared or can even see how many weeks you are on anyway (I guess Scotty in the pocket is one clue)ā¦
Everyone who doesnāt pause their subscription for more than 2 weeks
My streak is 70 or 71, whatever is the highest possible because I have not missed a week since it started.
I havenāt ridden this week yet so maybe 70.
I had to plan and figure out how to use my current gear to keep it going.
I enjoyed the puzzle.
I thought an in game indicator of streak was a good idea.
I would have preferred a stripe on my socks instead of the Chihuahua in the back pocket.
Streak Saver devalues it.
XPs are already devalued.
Bikes are neutralized.
Iām glad itās warming up and I will stop thinking about this stupid stuff.
Trying out the sync from Garmin to Zwift (as I record all my rides on my Garmin 1040 - indoor and outdoor).
Issue is that I canāt pick which types to import. Itās importing my outdoor road + mtb; but, also importing my indoor rides (on Zwift) so I end up with double activities.
Iād like to have an option to filter the types to import so only outdoor are included. No reason to import indoor rides types.
hi guys iām from italy and none of these updates are available on companion app. Everything is up to date
Hi @Carlo_Sirtori
Thatās expected. This is a phased rollout. Give it another ~24 hours.

If you simultaneously record your Zwift ride on a Garmin or Wahoo device, currently that will appear as a duplicate activity in Zwift. We plan to improve the dedupe logic as part of the first batch of improvements (and love the idea to also support activity type filters), but until then these duplicate activities can be removed by deleting them on the Zwift Companion āJust Meā activity feed. Once removed there, those rides will no longer count towards your fitness metrics.
Do you still get the extra 5xp per km?
Good question.
Iām sure ZHQ has thought ahead and made sure there would be no issues for those that dual record.
When I dual record, I have to cancel data sharing between CooSpoo and Strava to avoid double rides
Now with the bike computer app also exporting data to Zwift, what could go wrong?
Full disclosure, I gripe about new stuff all the time.
I notice that Iām griping a lot lately.
When I try to connect Wahoo, I get to the authorize page, press authorize, and it that point the page hangs. I tried connecting in the companion app and also via Zwift.com, same thing. Thoughts or suggestions appreciated!
I experienced the same problem when trying to re-authorize using my iphone.
What worked for me was insuring that I disconnected zwift account in the Wahoo Systm app (using my macbook), then did the same in my zwift account (disconnect Wahoo) using my macbook. I was then able to reconnect accounts from within my zwift account using my macbook.
FYI the fitness tracker calendar seems to be a bit buggy. At first I thought some of my running activities were being counted as cycling then I realized some cycling activities were being put on incorrect days. For example, an activity I did on Sunday 4/6 is on Monday 4/7 and the second activity I did today is on tomorrow Weds 4/9. Its Tuesday 2221 PST for me right now.
Nothern Germany here, still nothing new on Companion. Reconnecting Wahoo to Zwift was a pain also. It finally worked while using Firefox private mode (idk why tho⦠found the solution on the internet). But it seems that the update isnt out here yet.. sad but I guess we will have to wait a bit longer
Thanks for the nice feature. I have a request though.
My weekly goal is by time and I race a lot. This update has removed all my pre race warmup time from my weekly goal total. Warmup time can really add up if you race regularly.
Please can this be re added
As I am duathlete my activities tend to split 50/50 between running & biking, with a bit of swimming for old time sake thrown in & then strength work..
Due to the run data not being included, the data is simply inaccurate and of little value to me - Is there anyway to turn this off in the companion app rather than take up all that real estate?
