I don’t understand the xp calculation
Tuesday I did the ZRL TTT + a cooldown totaling 30k —> this should be 600 XP
Thursday I did a 24,3zwift ride/TR training , this should be 480XP
Saterday I did an outdoor ride of 35k this should be 175XP??
The Saturday ride looks suspiciously close to 2X the expected value.
On the other days, I believe the XP number is only supposed to reflect the ride imported from an external service like Garmin, because I don’t see any XP on the graph for any days I ride indoor only (I do use Garmin Connect but haven’t reconnected it since the feature came out). That is pretty confusing UI though. (Feedback for @Heather_MH)
And as I’ve noted previously also, Rouvy brings in outdoor rides for experience. I think it’s good that Zwift have. They only reward it at a quarter of the in-game rate, so it’s not like anyone’s going to game the system by riding outside rather than in Zwift.
Zwift have moved the XP goalposts before, and this is pretty small compared to the previous big adjustments.
XP is a pretty meaningless thing now. I lost interest in it when they started doing the double XP events. and now it is a real mess in my opinion, levels and XP don’t show anything useful.
I wanted it. Had enough XP to have it when they changed all the levels, but was put on level 46 or something. By the time I finally clawed my way to level 72, I didn’t care any more.
Or does this just mean that Zwift has created and defined something they call experience points, based on distances ridden, so they call these points Zwift Experience Points?
I have connected my Zwift companion app to Gramin and Wahoo. Today I rode 65km on Zwift, which automatically uploads to Strava and Wahoo. I have deleted the activity from Wahoo, but kept the activity from Strava.
I use a Wahoo Elemnt Roam 2 on my Kickr just to show my power balance and the visual gear display.
I appears the Companion App adds both the Zwift ride and either the Strava or Wahoo activity.
Only way right now is to go into your profile and delete the duplicated activities (preferably the imported one).
You must scroll down to activities on the home page, and selecting “just me” (to be able to see them).
(a little hack I’ve discovered is once you set the just me filter there, you can go to your profile top left and activities there and it seems to show them; but I’m fairly confident this is not meant to be)
