How do I rename Zwiftplay devices

I have 2 pairs of Zwiftplay controllers, and ride with my 10 y.o. son both irl and in Zwift at the same time. Pairing the devices isn’t difficult but remembering each of the 4 device IDs is!

How do I rename them to something easy like B-Left B-Right and F-Left and F-Right?

I imagine you can do this the same way you can rename your trainer. You edit a file. I’ll try and find the instructions

Reading th thread, it seems the solution doesn’t stick. I guess it’s a sticky note as a backup then.
