Help with equipment

Hi!
I did not find the right forum thread so I post it here…
Im looking for a spinbike to connect to zwift, and I have been looking at a lot of youtube videos and rewievs. The “best” would be a smartbike, but 2500 EUR and upwards is to much. So I have been looking for other options, but there is so much to choose, and Im confused. You can have bikes like Schwinn IC8/IC4 witch has a problem with accuracy to Zwift. There is others like DKN Pro-1 which seems good, but no Watt output. There is options with cheaper bikes, and then you add some powerpedals, or you strap something around the cranks (?) - like a sensor. Im looking for something thats working and total under 1000 EUR (or dollars)… approximatly. Any good suggestions? Should I go for a spinbike that already measure the effect (but with risk of wrong values), or a powerpedal (where I might so something wrong). What bike you recommend (I have long legs)…

Thanks! Looking foreward to hear your suggestions in 2021! What would you have bought if you had this budget and wanted to workout with Zwift…

The big question is do you really want a spin bike or do you have a bicycle that you can put on a trainer?

Sadly I don’t have, and will not buy anyone either at the moment…

Ok my personal opinion if you want a spin bike then get a cheap one and get power pedals. That way you will have accurate power and if you decide to start riding outside you will have a power source.

Great. What kind of power pedals do people recommend? Do I need the “double” or is the “single” where only one is meassured enough… ?

Depends on your budget Asioma uno is very good pedals and you can upgrade to Duo later.

Just check that the bike can take standard pedals.
