WE NEED THE HELP OF THE ENGINEERS AND DESIGNERS OF ZWIFT TO DESIGN AN AVATAR OF A HANDBIKE … IT WOULD BE A BEAUTIFUL WAY TO INCLUDE US AS CYCLISTS WE ARE WITHIN THE SIMULATOR…EVEN WE CAN MAKE A GROUP RIDE TO TRAIN OR JOIN EVERY GROUP AS I DO NOW BUT I RATHER WITH A HANDBIKE… I WROTE IN THIS WEBSITE LONG TIME AGO…BUT NO RESPONSE. I like this mostly. I think the trike bike that was used here (the big wheel) could be something symbolic of handicapped riders, be they missing limbs, mentally challenged, and other situations.
What touched me yesterday, was someone who needs a recumbent bike for indoor therapy for his young daughter who had severe brain injury in an accident. I may be able to hook up a zwift sensor to a recumbent exercise bike, and I immediately thought about the Big Wheel bike. Lots of kids in chemo need a little something that involves movement with fun. Please anyone with suggestions for this particular child can write to me at zkyder94 at gmail. Any help with a set-up or parts to donate would be awesome.
Maybe a separate one for adults. But special kids would love the Big Wheel.
