I recently purchased a monitor to use with my Laptop. all was fine until i decided to use the Laptop as the main screen and the monitor as a secondary screen. I view ZWIFT on the secondary screen. annoyingly after about 40 minutes into a ride the graphics freezes and i get a message stating that the graphics driver has detected a fault and reset. Unfortunately Zwift does not recover from the problem and i loose all the data from the ride.
i have checked that the driver is the latest version.
reverting back to using the monitor to display the same as the laptop cures the problem.
Hi Alan,
The most common reason why you would get game crashes from a display issue in Zwift is if your drivers are out of date. You may want to visit the manufacturer’s website, download, and install the latest graphics drivers for your video card.
Let me know if that helps!
as previously stated i have checked all graphics drivers and they report that they are the latest.
hasn’t failed since i reverted back to a duplicate display.
