Is there anyway to change the number of gears to 12 and change the gear ratio for virtual shifting so it more accurately represents the bike that I use?
Nope, it’s like you got a new bike with predetermined gearing that can never be changed
Hi @David_Loszewski. Welcome to Forums. It’s Juan an Zwift support colleague. I hope you are having a great weekend.
I do appreciate you taking the time to share your query in this space. As @Paul_Southworth mentioned, the gap between individual gears cannot be modified. I would like to suggest you check out this article to learn more about frequently asked questions about virtual changes.

Just to note, it would be a huge upgrade to virtual shifting to allow riders to program the gearing. Many of us use Zwift to train for real world cycling, and having the same gearing as our real world bike would be really helpful to appropriate training. I highly encourage Zwift to work on making this possible as a software upgrade. For example, I ride a 1x set up with a 13 speed rear cassette (10-46), would love to be able to have this option via Zwift Cog.
If you are trying to simulate a single fixed gear on virtual gearing on zwift.
Then jyst set the virtual gear to what feels like it’s the same and then just don’t change gears at all.
That’s the same as a fixed single speed gear IRL.
