Same for me. 2pm event.
Same here on MacBook Pro. for the 3PM CET Haute Route Stage 1
Saving was really slow.
Received mail that I completed the route
The activity feed only shows the date and not the true title. The time, distance and elevation seem a little low.
Clicking on that activity in the feed just goes to a page that never finishes loading.
I am having the same issue (14:00 GMT Stage 1)
-
A ride shows up in my feed, but I can’t click into the details
-
Not uploading to Strava
-
No completion email
same issue here
Same issue… hoping in time it all syncs up. I see something on Companion but no detailed data… just the date, the km’s, time, elevation and calories. The ride shows up on Zwift Power (with no detailed data). Nothing on Strava. Crossing fingers it’s just taking a long time to process over 6400 rides.
I noticed we were approaching 30k simultaneous users today, seems like we are testing their server limits…
So, is someone from Zwift going to comment on all of this? Event was great, but sounds like there are a lot of people in the same “unposted/unfinished” boat.
Never mind… scrolled up and see that they’re working on it. Apologies.
If you scroll up a little you will see Zwift did comment on the issue:
Hi
Many people were dropped out of the 5 pm Haute Route event including myself, most annoying especially as it happened at the top Ariel. Why when rejoining are you not placed back into the event, it’s most frustrating as I now cannot complete the 3 Haute Route events
Hello, I just completed the 6pm BST Haute Route first stage but rode solo from the Aerials. All other zwifters disappeared as I rejoined the main route. I was still seeing chat and leaderboard updates, I was also streaming music so my internet connection was working fine. As soon as I completed all the other riders became visible. Anyone else having this problem?
This happened to me on the 14:00 ride. Got to the top of the aerial climb and Zwift froze and I got kicked off. Tried again on the 17:00 ride and got kicked off after 2 minutes which was frustrating but at least it happened at the start.
I’m not going to bother with the other 2 stages I’ll just do a non event ride. Hopefully the servers will cope better
My Haute Route ride only partially appears - get the message “activity could not be loaded” when I try to access the stats. Weirdly its 3km short… more annoyingly it won’t upload to Strava.
Did anybody try to check the local fit file and manually upload to Strava?
Just curious, my 1st stage today at 11 am CEST was OK, would like to know what I should expect on Sat and Sunday…
EPIC FAIL. ZWIFT you need to hold some makeup stages.
Is there a problem with Zwift when there are huge numbers of participants. 5 minutes into today’s Haute route, the iPad app crashed. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Is this a Zwift issue or an issue with my home wifi/hardware. I never have a problem with other training rides or activities with a few hundred participants. Any clues anyone?
Guess I should be happy I wasn’t able to even log in to join the 10am PST ride. Zwift finally reach a limit?
Literally just finished, Zwift crashed, went back in. No record of it, no drops, level - anything. Frustrating. Don’t think the server could handle 6000 all on one route ?!
Just started the 7pm BST haute stage 1 and after seconds the zwift app on my iPad crashed and once I reloaded the app I was unable to rejoin, meaning I’ve got to wait another 4hrs for the final stage 1 event of the day
Posted this in another thread but added here as well
Tried twice today to do the event.
Got in at least 10 mins before the start each time and within 10 secs of the start the app crashed. I know I’m using an old iPad (lack of space) so thought I wouldn’t pedal at the beginning and let everyone go ahead. Still crashed.
Poor experience but at least the second time I didn’t waste time getting kitted up as I knew what would happen
Very poor planning on Zwift’s part - with limited slots for the event considering how many slots they have had for the recent two tour events.
Hi, a similar thing happened to me on the start of Haute Route - Stage 1 (14h), today. It seems that, for some hundreds of riders, the power readings stuck… in my case, all sensor were reading Ok, no signal loss reported. But, the power was always 77w, and for whatever effort i tried, my rider was just riding at 77W, max… so, for some hundreds of guys, it was hapenning just something similar, because they also were riding too slow like me. I tried to re-pair sensors, etc… nothing worked… i’ve just quit the stage… so, for whatever it was, it was something that affected many riders, so it was not some local wifi or equipment thing…
