This is not realistic, in the real world i walk in the bike shop, if i have enough money (drops) i can guy anything i desire.
Either are power ups, the tron bike, riding inside a volcano, etc… zwift is a game, not real life. Most games make the player reach certain levels to unlock items, it keeps them engaged longer so they play more.
