Any chance you could have a look at the BACKPEDAL club (0955a4b7-804d-4bab-bff2-fc795a730e08) - it’s still capped at 100 members for some reason.
Hi @Jonas_H,
I’ve fixed this for the BACKPEDAL club, you now have access to the server default (10,000 members).
Thanks!
STILL have a limit of 500 on ZZRC … nobody else can join.
Please would someone take a look
Thanks A
I’ve just fixed this for ZZRC! ![]()
I can’t join Zwift Insider club. Zwift Companion shows a message that the club is full, but it also shows it has 7897 members, which is less than 10000.
how many clubs are you already a member of, isn’t it capped per user at 10 clubs?
I’m not a member of any club at the moment.
Are you under 18 years old?
No, I’m over 30.
maybe it is setup as invite only?
Does not look like it. I’ve seen other clubs working with invites or by application.
I clearly receive a message saying the club is full, but under 10000 members.
Theory: @Eric-Schlange-ZI sent out a lot of invites when the club first went live, that is how I joined, and set the club as “anyone can join”. Many of those invites have not been accepted, adding to the total allowed in the club, even though they didn’t accept the invite.
We’ve seen this happen to users who have hit the follower limit as well, any sent invitations to follow are counted towards the total followers even if they are ignored and never accepted.
Could be. Seems plausible.
I think this is likely to be the case.
Curses. I do believe you’re right!
For now I’m going in to manually withdraw those invites, in hopes of opening up a few slots. Rather tedious doing that 2000x though…
I could already join the club. It seems that the problem was indeed related to the unaccepted invites.
Now that a lot of group rides have moved into clubs, it’s harder to see what’s available via the companion app. And if you hit the 10 club limit, you can no longer browse other clubs to see what rides are available. Will the club limit be increased in the near future?
What group rides have moved into clubs? The public schedule seems as busy as ever
This could be me misunderstanding how the public vs clubs calendar works. I have fomo, worrying that I’m missing out on things I can’t see hidden behind a join button ![]()
The second point about browsing clubs still stands, though. I’ve hit my 10 club limit so can’t browse other clubs without leaving one.
Edited to add: I equate this to browsing a ‘guild’ or fireteam when gaming. I want to know if it’s a good fit before I join. I don’t need to see private information about who is part of the club, but it would be nice to see club-specific events all in one place, and possibly the # of followers/following who are in the club, as factors into a decision about whether to join (there’s likely other metadata that would be useful that I’m not thinking of right now, too).
