Thank you for your valuable input. People are asking for information and youre not helping.
Isnt that the whole point of a forum?
Anyway back to zwifting. First and last time on the forum.

Don’t you think this is mostly due to the Makuri PP not being available on Makuri off days… unless you have the new UI? With only PC/Mac users having the new UI, that surely brings numbers down.
Not that I’m fighting for them to come back to Makuri or anything. Just an observation.
I think your quote might be a bit out
I think it is partly due to that, but not the whole reason. I think some of it was down to poor route selection (which I corrected 2 weeks ago which led to an increase of approx 20%) but I think that also the “flat” routes in Makuri aren’t that flat and the most popular PP routes are pan flat.
Nice to see some new pace partners, though why wouldn’t Zwift add a 2.0wpk pace partner as that is what most users were requesting…
We’ve used these pace specifically because that is what our research on actual speeds of Zwifters were.
Again, it is not set in stone.
I know I’m only supposed to complain here, but I’m really happy to see the new pace partners. My wife asked me yesterday if she should lobby Zwift for a slower pace partner. I said uhhh THEY KNOW
Haha, although I have been liking the smaller group size going round Makuri.
Yep, same. Plus a bit more undulating terrain so have to pay a bit more attention.
Good to see new PP’s for the low-end though, that might help with new-to-zwift’ers get comfortable with riding in groups and help them ease into community group rides and races.
New partners look great thanks.
I liked the variety of makuri too (and some hills), but help getting my power up to C is the main thing.
Larger rotation sounds good too.
Probably true. I just used Bowie last night in Neokyo! 2 other riders besides me.
“Stop making ‘Cara’ happen, it’s not going to happen!”
Sorry James… LOL
We can’t wait to try them out, new routes and all. Many on our team would like one between B and A as well.
Yeah, I get that some would like a C+, B+ and an A+ partner also.
Only issue with making decisions on popularity around now and then applying that long term, you are in the lull period of users in both hemispheres - Numbers are down, so as long as that the data reflects that and is reviewed periodically (let’s be honest, this where all the future works have failed).
I’m looking across a week per partner (but measuring this against users online in that day rather than merely on unique riders).
It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely better than just looking at a day’s worth of data.
There’s not a massive difference between riding on the front with Coco and stiing on the back with Bowie, you just need to concentrate a bit.
I’m really (really) disappointed that you haven’t put something between Coco and Brevet; that’s a massive gap in performance. Why do several at the low end? Wouldn’t one bridging each gap have made more sense (D to C, C to B, B to A)?
Sorry to hear that you’re disappointed.
These changes are temporary and focus on our newer Zwifters at the lower end, whilst also retaining the existing Pace Partners that we know and love.
This is an awesome and welcome change, can’t wait to use it! Thanks for making it part of this update.
@James_Zwift Thank you for making this effort and making this possible. I’m looking forward for the coco routes.
