An interesting new concept being looked at to categorise riders called “Compound Score.” It’s simply your raw Watts multiplied by W/Kg for a given time duration.

For example, since becoming a Zwiftpower and CE B in mid Feb, my CS(5m) for indoor rides began at 1257 and hit a peak of 1590 in May (359W 4.43W/Kg in a 1 lap super sprint race at La Guardia).
The research was on U23 riders, so riders less than half my age, but it might be a useful metric for a broader rider base.
