Building 1299.99 bundle if I already have just the Zwift Ride in box

Someone is selling me a brand new, in box Zwift ride. I wanted to build the advertised $1299.99 'Zwift Ride with KICKR CORE" set up that they site advertises. I’ve tried emailing Zwift and calling but they don’t seem to care to answer. I found someone mention this forum to try and figure out my question.

What do i still need to buy to complete the rest of the bundle? Seems like I need to order the Wahoo Kickr Core but I don’t understand where the Cog V2 comes from? I don’t see a Cog V2 advertised on the Zwift shop site. On the Zwift shop site should I order the “Wahoo KICKR Core Zwift One + Zwift PLay Bundle” and the “Zwift Cog and Click Upgrade Kit”?

Hey @Chris_Brem, welcome to the Forum! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support. Glad you’re here.

Sounds like you’re looking to complete the Zwift Ride setup!

If you’re purchasing the Zwift Ride Smart Frame only without the trainer, it should include the handlebar controllers, so you need a trainer to get everything up and running. The Wahoo KICKR CORE Zwift One is a solid choice since it comes with the Zwift Cog, and the Zwift Play controls offer the same functionality as the handlebar controller.

You will lose the warranty on the ZR since you weren’t the purchaser, unless that person is close enough and willing to act as an intermediary in the event of issues - handlebar controllers have been known to play up. Speaking of which, you won’t need the Zwift Play controllers.
