Would a “flag as suspected bot” option in the ZCA be an approach to help the automated checks ?
As Chris does, I do also see a few “riders” that’s very easy to identify on a daily basis.
I’ve sort of learned to accept they are around, but the leaderboards doesn’t make much sense as long they are around ( not that I’m strong enough to get on any leaderboards anyway )
Given you don’t know what these are I don’t think you can make that comment. I would need to see examples (ideally the one at the top of this thread) before making assumptions.
There are 2-3 who troll our regular races on and off for at least two years. We flag them out and report them through the app via the … menu. They may have had some temp bans but keep coming back.
All 3 have very different approaches to cheating. 1 rider alternates between 0 and 12wkg constantly, 1 just rides at 450w, and 1 is notorious in the community (and known to the police for his actions against organizers).
Should we assume that this has been reviewed and is fine, or keep reporting despite a lack of outcome.
Not the same person but there are lots of folks doing that. If they keep a private account you don’t see the peaks on data anywhere historically, so I could link the account and you wouldn’t see anything
Whats even the point in doing that ? Since there are no more free acounts what is the idea here ? I can hardly believe there is a market big enough so they can sell those acounts after spending a few months paying a monthly fee.
And after level 42 you can buy everything is unlocked you need so why need the extra xp ?
The farming bots are back at it this week. There’s one on with Constance in Richmond right now, it was on there yesterday also. There’s also some in the Bs. Zwift isn’t doing anything about this problem. Its so easy to spot them with Sauce, it would take a few hours to train an AI agent to detect and ban these idiots.
And before someone tells us to ignore them, that’s not the point. Users shouldn’t have to tolerate a bot going 400 watts nonstop dragging the pacer for hours on end on the front. It takes all the variability out of the ride. Its a degradation of service that’s being paid for.
Probsbly trying to sell upgraded accounts which have “prestige”.
I still see a regular dubious user on Alpe who is unlikely to be 49/52/54kg (he was both 49/52 on the same ride two days ago where he did 41 min on first lap). No heart rate, some unlikely fast times. Reported so hopefully looked at.
Guy was there yesterday as well, but not going as quickly.
nope. A solution to this problem doesn’t look anything like “did you tell James”. I posted to illustrate that given how long this issue has been going on, and how easy it is to detect, Zwift clearly doesn’t see it as an issue and expects paying customers to put up with it.
