Bikes and Van Rysel

As Van Rysel have created a hyper-road bike for £9k and Decathlon AG2R are bossing it on the World Tour - when can we expect to see them in the Drop Shop.

The Drop Shop needs a revamp. 2023 frames where we are now in 2024 and your PR site, the Zwift Insider recommending the Felt as the fastest frame - seriously? It would be great to have the bikes that are in the WT peloton right now.

Many thanks in advance, Dave.

when they pay zwift or zwift pay them to put the frames in the game they’ll most likely be added

If it does happen it will be with 2 star aero and weight ratings.

And never buy a newly released bike from the drop shop until a month later when it will inevitably have been nerfed then you are stuck with it.

Some other nice ones to add to your choice:

Heroïn HR (seen those IRL, even was offered to ride one)
Canyon Ultimate CF Evo 10.0 carbon/brown (very light weight - I own one IRL)
Canyon Ultimate CF Evo SL carbon/orange (extreme light weight)
Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8
Colnago C64 Frozen Blue / Frozen Gold / Frozen Red
AX-Lightness Vial evo Ultra

The Merida Scultura would have been nice to have, but they removed it from Zwift. Only saw Matej Mohoric with it once in Zwift going up the Epic KOM.

That said, continual new routes would be nicer.

I do struggle with the ratings of the frames in the Drop Shop and then the Zwift Insider ratings. Without anything but anecdote, I have always got the feeling that - say Specialized, investors in Zwift, get optimum metrics. The Lord knows how Felt got to the top of the table?!

Merida Scultura in Zwift a few years ago. Doesn’t exist anymore, removed.

Would like to see the Colnago C60 which is hidden away:

What does that look like in Zwift? A team bike?? Zwift obviously built it and put in game (that’s from the Application data folder), but for who or what purpose…

Unless it is the V3RS but misnamed…

Colnago are owned by the same people who own Team UAE and MyWhoosh and the latter is stuffed full of them in their virtual bike shed. I can’t see Colnago appearing because of that. A great shame.

The Pinarello Espada would be nice to have as well…

The aero dynamics would be dire though. What the likes of Dan Bigham et al have done to TT bikes and positions now makes it somewhat pedestrian.
