All the avatars in the game (but not bikes or even accessories such as sunglasses) are flickering on and off such that Im left with just a bike and sunglasses.
This is happening intermittently and very fast so it almost appears the rider is transparent.
This is a gaming PC running windows 11 with a 5950X CPU, 32GB of RAM and a AMD 6900XT graphics card so it is not under any load what so ever playing these PS1 style graphics…
I’ve also noticed that some of the rock arches are transparent (constantly - not flickering like the avatar)
Thanks for the heads up - i didnt fancy installing a screen recorder just to clamp my frame rate down though…
I had a look around the radeon software and you can specify a max frame rate on a per application basis so just capped it at 60Hz to match the tv refresh rate and all good.
It doesn’t clamp your frame rate down. The issue appears most at high frame rates, but that’s not the actual problem. OBS running* resolves it irrespective of frame rate, along with microstutter. So you’ll still have that.
*It doesn’t have to be recording, just loaded.
If you have vsync enabled (as you should, unless you like tearing) then you wouldn’t need to cap your frame rate manually anyway.
