Alpe du Zwift Turn Numbers

(Richard Freeth ZHR (G)) #1

What do the different colours on the turn numbers mean?  Some are yellow some red?

(Erik Schumacher) #2

I think it is an indicator of the average gradient of the following section.

(Andre Hufschmid) #3

I also believe its the gradient for the following section. Anything deep red will be a pain

(SteveK @Cycleoptic ICC) #4

surely no more pain than other sections , just slower.

If you sit at a attainable power output/cadence, it’s just your speed that will change for a change in incline? ( if you’ve got enough gears

Good theories, they seem plausible.  Can anyone @zwifthq confirm?

(Richard Freeth ZHR (G)) #6

Still no official reply, thank you all for your suggestions they match my thoughts but it would be nice to know for sure.

(Josie (Zwift HQ)) #7

Hey y’all!

I can confirm that the theories above are correct. They are related to the difficulty of each segment.
