What do the different colours on the turn numbers mean? Some are yellow some red?
I think it is an indicator of the average gradient of the following section.
I also believe its the gradient for the following section. Anything deep red will be a pain 
surely no more pain than other sections , just slower.
If you sit at a attainable power output/cadence, it’s just your speed that will change for a change in incline? ( if you’ve got enough gears
