Looks pretty flat, wonder if the MTB route has more climbing.
It doesn’t.
Certainly not much in the way of climbing.
I reckon Mount Fuji (or part of it) will be added later, like Alpe du Zwift was.
just googled it and to ride every part of watopia it is 104 miles.
No chance, even Uber Pretzel is only 78 miles and that includes loads of doubling back over the same roads. There’s only Titans Grove and the new link roads that it doesn’t include.
There must be an expansion planned. Very strange they wouldn’t have any of the Olympic course, especially as they’ve never done an Olympic course before.
i think 104 includes a lot of going back and forth.
I guess it is kind of like watopia’s waistband in terms of size.
Again perhaps that will be added when the proper Olympics stuff kicks off, but that’s only in a couple of weeks.
As Zwift are teasing this with preview photos, surely they’re going to leave us hanging for a bit longer, perhaps until next week?

I think that’d be a huge let down. They’ve gone harder than normal on the teasers, and sitting on it for another week would derail the hype train I reckon.
France is just over 30k if you don’t count ven top, so very similar amount of road.
New world looks a bit small?
Watopia launched as a single 9km/6mi loop. We’ve got spoilt over the years.
I just wanted to say that. Watopia was only the hilly loop.
