The companion app appears but Zwift itself does not. Cannot find any answers to this. Any updates?
Hi @Vincenzo_Rajo, welcome to Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.
iOS has a ton of features, and the screen time option lets you set time limits for apps and track usage and other stuff more in-depth.
For this specific situation, it might be worth checking out the Apple community website. There’s a thread where people chat about this topic, and you can find some good insights there.
Hi Francisco,
Thanks for replying so quickly. Yes, i’ve trawled through a bunch of articles. I’ve tried uninstalling etc… But there doesn’t seem to be a definitive answer.
Also i haven’t seen anyone post that this is working for them. Do you know of an instance where this is working for the Zwift app?
Just bizzare that the companion app works and Zwift doesn’t.
Recently bought a Zwift membership for my son who loves biking. But there’s certain apps that he isn’t allowed to use. At the moment when he is doing a ride it interferes half way through “asks form permission” then once i give the permission it’s ok. But this isn’t ideal.
Would be great if we could get to the bottom of this.
Appreciate the response and if you have any ideas or solution that would be awesome.
tks V
I’m having the same issue. I use Down Time to establish a schedule on my Apple devices for restricting distracting apps (social media apps, youtube, etc.) when I don’t want to be distracted, but I’d like to add Zwift to the “Always Allowed” list so I can get in early/late workouts when my Down Time schedule is on. However, Zwift doesn’t appear on that Always Allowed list as an option despite all other apps on my phone appearing there. In order to use the app during my down time schedule, it requires a password, which only my wife knows so I can’t get around it. Therefore, I’m not able to use Zwift when I want to workout. Please make an app change so we can add Zwift as an Always Allowed app.
