I see it starts in about 5 hours. Would be nice if we get some kind of heads up whats happening a bit earlier than at the last moment.
Doesn’t it start next week?
Stage 6 of TDZ races starts at 1710 GMT today.
I see the first one in the events list at 5.30PM CEST today.
Zwift Games 20926 - Road to Glory.
Description of the Road To Glory events says "Road to Glory is a guided group ride designed to teach you the basics of racing on Zwift, from how events work to when to use PowerUps. It’s the perfect way to build confidence before lining up for Zwift Games. "
Omg, hourly group ride from 1630 today, ahead of the races starting next week! ![]()

You can make fun of it all you like, the lack of info from Zwift once again is mind boggling.
Surprise.
Bunch of new event only routes also are being used
Kaze Kicker, Hudson Hustle, Cobbled Crown, Peaky Pave, Three Step Sisters, and The Epiloch
ZG2026 being hyped everywhere but the official Zwift forum, why am I not surprised?
No neutralised virtual frames/wheels this year.
Boo!
Boo!

…and one steering event.
Frames, wheels and update levels all apply.
The five main stages are steering and braking restricted/blocked.
Makes no sense.
You can’t take the inside line on a corner.
But you can use your overpowered SL8 Pro stage 5 upgraded frame with DT 65; DT 1100 or Enve 4.5 Pro wheels.
Is the argument not that steering must be paid for and is not universally available, whereas the opportunity to do sufficient riding to unlock and upgrade bikes is open to everyone?
Not sure what you’re thinking.. Every stage you can use steering, just the special one steering is required to enter evidently? A new type of hardware enforcement or has this event type existed before?
I was replying to Zee writing that steering and braking are disabled for stages 1-5.
The augument about neutralised frames and wheels is everyone has same equipment, just like previous Zwift Games. They are running a week of hourly group rides ahead of the Zwift Games races to encourage more rookies to take part…
Yeah, good luck with your basic Zwift Steel and basic wheels (or similar) against those with similar ability on stage 5 SL8 Pro with top wheels or alike and not getting disillusioned with Zwift racing!
Just because we’ve been on Zwift for years doesn’t mean we should have rocket launchers against rookie revolvers, comparing this to online Unreal Tournament.
Not sure where Zee got that info.. random selection seems to actually say that Steering is on, and somehow each stage is “all about steering..” which I assume means prior years “Games” had steering turned off?
Just read on Eric’s article…
" One noteworthy rule this year that hasn’t been mentioned yet: steering and braking are disabled for all races except the stage 6 Crit Cade events."
