Zwift Companion Fitness Trends Update [July 2025]

Still a Zgimmick.

Useless if you can’t input your existing “training score” from previous activites.
Useless if it doesn’t include other biking outside of Zwift, which is limited to Wahoo and Garmin app synched activities.
Useless if it’s duplicating Zwift activites that come in from Wahoo/Garmin apps, on top of the direct save from Zwift.

Just let it die. Sites like Intervals do this far better.

When will we be able to disable the fitness tracker in Companion app?

Does the app tell you if you are a sandbagger? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

My app (non=zwift) said ‘unsustainable level’ but I’ve been doing the same thing for the last two or three years.

You missed “Useless unless it includes running, which is already tracked on Zwift”

My Oura ring is a better indicator of my training level than ZCA, and I won’t mention a real fitness tracker like TrainingPeaks

Yes, for the complete picture, if you truly care you’re not going to be using the layman analysis on ZCA. You’ll have something along the lines of TP, WKO, Golden cheetah, etc. I do a very basic review in WKO but I still enjoy he information that can be quickly digested in ZCA since I’ve been exclusively riding zwift since April.

A suggestion on the fitness trend chart - have a way to see what activities you had going on that caused the different movements in the line. Say I’ve got a big spike back in January. I could tap on the line and have it go to that time period in my events. Or some other sort of breakdown.

If this is going to be a focus for development, best to make it as good as it can be.

But that doesn’t mean there doesn’t need to be an option to turn off the feature from taking up 2/3 of the companion screen.

:100: I had the same desire - I want to tap on a day and see the activities from that day

Dropping you in the middle of a timeline of your activities so you can see all around would be preferred for me

It’s good how it’s a ‘bike’ fitness metric that doesn’t recognise a bike leg of a multisport activity.. or even any of the activities from a duathlon or triathlon.

Zwift - you did nothing yesterday.

Every other fitness application, take it easy today you worked hard in a race yesterday.

Please enable outdoor running.

The CP/PD curve would also be great for that. Click the “20min PR” and it shows you the activity link.

Yup. It’s just window dressing until they add running stats. Kinda crazy that it doesn’t even take into account running on Zwift, their own platform
