That said I’ve done a couple of recent Zwift builds with v2004 from scratch and there have been no login issues so I assumed IE was still present and correct.

i have the same problem since yesterday.
When I try to open the program it tells me"There was an error accessing your documents folder.There was also an error trying to create a zwift folder on your desktop as a fall-back. This means zwift cant save any files. please contact support"

That sounds like a OneDrive problem. Check it’s not been reinstalled, assuming you weren’t using it.
