Anyone got any idea why the format of the Tuesday Sydkysten 5 lap race round insbruck has changed in recent weeks?
Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere.
it was the best event imo and has now been changed to mass starts with no draft. Essentially a 45k TT.
The “fun” racing element of the event has been removed and numbers have dwindled in the last few weeks resulting in a lonely ride in my garage for over an hour!
You would need to ask the event organizer about their intentions.
If numbers remain consistently low then the event will be culled.
The numbers each week are generally over 100, har now dropped since the changed format.
how do you contact the organisers? Sorry if that’s a dumb question 
The only info I found is a Sydkysten Cycling club in Zwift Companion so you could join and try to contact them there. The event description has nothing and they don’t have a Discord linked from the event (though they might have that in the club).
