Im not sure our friend will understand what it is though!
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing⌠What is zwift doing?
If a pro cycling team can do it in real life, it can certainly be done on Zwift
Rode on RGT Cycling, last night, and yes they offer a yellow and blue âNo To Warâ jersey.
Come on Zwift - let us show our support!
I agree⌠A neutral stand is nothing more than condoning the murder and atrocities committed by Russia. When are zwift going to follow the lead taken by the likes of fifa the Olympic committee and closer to home the uci? Zwift need to do the right thing.
Ukraine Jersey is a fantastic idea and if riders donât want to wear it then they donât have to.
The Russian media is not reporting the war in Ukraine properly telling Russians its not even a war. If the one thing that happens is Russian Zwifters see loads of Ukrainian Jerseys and wonder what is going on then thatâs got to be a good thing.
I think itwould be a great idea if Zwift made a yellow and blue cycling jersey and running shirt and pants and then made it available to all runners and cyclists. In this way, everyone could show their solidarity with the Ukrainian population in sports.
What do you think about this?
Thatâs exactly what I have in mind. Zwift is an opportunity to avoid russian censorship and give russians an idea that things might not be the way their government tells them. Maybe we should comment the activities of russian zwifters - PLEASE not with hate speech but with respectful words trying to tell them whatâs going on. Remember - itâs Putinâs war, not the war of the russian people.
Wake up, there are more important things in the world then a game. I totally agree with the idea of blue yellow kit
What was the nearest kit pls Phil?
@IS_Ferguson when youâre in game press P then enter the code PCGKIT32516 or MTSKIT - both are close, see for yourself if they work for you.
How is this a devisive issue?
It is a shame that our Ukrainian friends on Zwift donât have that same freedom.
The more that communities like ours can do to publicise the injustice, the more we can inform the Russian people.
I get both points of view but we canât hide ourselves away and pretend that it isnât happening.
War is not just politics, itâs innocents behing killed.
Showing that you care wonât harm anyone.
Iâm seeing a lot of people concerned about war when it happens to a European country but have been silent for years when the victims are from Africa, the Middle East, or South America.
I donât remember people asking to ban entire ethnicities prior to this.
I am Ukrainian BTW.
Maybe Ukraine can be catalyst for a change in the world.
I would definitely like to see a Ukrainian flag jersey made available.
I hear you, I am sick to my stomach for what is going on. But when I jump on Zwift I do it for fitness and just to escape the world for an hour or two. I just have a hard time with it 24/7 so I hope you understand my point too.
Live and let live people in sports. We arenât politicians here nor judges.
Thatâs what I see happening too. People essentially bullying someone who is NOT changing their flag, or wearing a certain kit.
Itâs fine if someone wants to change their flag, or wear a certain kit.
But if another rider, or groups of riders start questioning why some riders donât, then theyâve crossed the line.
