Does anyone know if the Scotty in your back pocket was a temporary thing?
I thought it was there to stay but it disappeared from my back pocket, i still have my 15 week streak..?
I miss my riding buddy…

Go to the settings and under audio visual there is a streak flair setting to turn him on or off
Hi @D_enise1, welcome to the Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.
Thanks for sharing this with us—Scotty is such a fun addition for streak holders, and I completely understand wanting him back!
Scotty was introduced as part of the April Fools fun this year, but turns out he’s not just a prank. He’s now a little badge of honor for streak holders.
As @Mike_Rowe1 mentioned, just head into Settings > Audio Visual > Streak Flair, and you’ll see the option to turn Scotty back on. If your streak is still active, he should pop right back into your back pocket like he never left.
Game Update v1.87 “April 2025”
With the last version 1.88.0, Scotty Streak Flair is no longer visible in “HoloReplays”. FYI
Good evening Francisco, a couple of quick questions. A. Will Scotty’s weight slow me down? B. Will having Scotty in my jersey’s back pocket increase aerodynamic drag? Should I put him in the middle pocket?
Hi @EJ_Acosta.
This is Haziel from Zwift. I appreciate your fun and creative question about Scotty! I want to assure you that no matter where you decide to keep our adorable squire, whether it’s in your back pocket or middle pocket, Scotty is just here for companionship and joy. You can rest easy knowing that his “weight” isn’t counted as extra load on Zwift, so he won’t slow you down or impact your aerodynamics.
We ensure that everyone has a fair and enjoyable experience. So you can fully immerse yourself in your ride, without any worries about extra drag from Scotty.
Happy riding, and if you have other questions, please contact us
Good evening. I am happy that you enjoyed my attempts at humor. One of the best things about Zwift is that it is a lot of fun and it doesn’t take itself too seriously. Cyclists are, for the most part, too serious about their rides. Zwift gives us a chance to ride and train, but also get a bit of silliness into our rides. Incidentally, you have no idea how many times I’ve had to swerve, hard, while bombing it down a hill in order to avoid hitting an errant squirrel. It is nice to have Scotty in my back pocket. BTW, kudos on the new ZC. The new layout is cleaner and the information easier to access. Also, kudos for sponsoring women races, like Paris Roubaix and the TdF. As the father of daughters, who also cycle, it is great to see a major sponsor like Zwift, promoting women racers. Ride On!
