I have always appreciated the imagination and creativity behind replacing the statues of Confederate Generals with Cyclists on top of the monuments in Richmond on Monument Boulevard.
As as rode Richmond today I thought how great it would be if the monument bases were decorated as they are now IRL, covered in graffiti acknowledging Black Lives Matter and protesting systematic racism. The picture on the cover of the January 2021 issue of National Geographic is a good reference. As a way to start 2021 of anew, while still acknowledging the events from 2020, in time for Martin Luther King Day and Black History Month (in USA).
