Agree that a modelled curve is best. At its most basic, the value at n minutes should be overridden with the value at n+m minutes if this is higher.
From the roadmap in November we have this for January. Are they all ready or is there any other news ?
Roadmap ZRS :
New seed formula ā November/December 2024
Race requirement reducing - November 2024
Default event category ranges -
Change to require a minimum effort ā November 2024 ???
Category enforcement when joining events ā January 2025 ???
Improvements to volatility of score movement at lower ranges (est Dec 2024) ???
Looking further back than 90 days for the seed score (est Jan 2025) ???
Arrow indicators when min effort mechanism kicks in (est Feb 2025) ???
I think they are adding points to riders floor score if you podium now, my floor has increased but my 5 minutes PR is the same.
Oh, that sounds like the suggestion I had a while back.
This definitely did not work for zone 2 Tiny Races today, please see my recent post in the Tiny Races thread.

I posted a similar discrepancy in the ZRS score ranges thread.
My observation was a range 1 vs range 2 issue
I updated the Rhino crits to extend the lap count for the higher categories, and shift the racing score range from 0-800 to 50-850. I hope this opens a few opportunities for people.
Appreciate it. Less productively I found an exploit to reset your ZRS and created a burner of me at 85kg that wildly got placed as a low C.
@Paul_Southworth if you could shift a start time out so thereās a 6am start on the US west coast, you might get some participation from the Pacific coast contingent. Speaking for myself, I ride Zwift in the morning, finishing usually before 8am. Getting a short race in the middle of the week would be great.
Expanding the ZRS to 850 is a great thing for those poor saps who are stupid fast. Wish I was thereā¦
Yesterday, I set a very marginal increase in my 5min power during a one lap TT at Mech Isle in the Herd Omnium, albeit I hadnāt calibrated my H3 turbo for about a week and during that time the pain cave had experienced warm and cold days.
My recent best had been 260W at 97Kg giving 2.68W/Kg from 4th January in Tiny Race 4, but yesterday that became 262W at 95.5Kg giving 2.74W/Kg.
So far, presumably because I believe the Herd Omnium series wasnāt running Racing Score, my score has remained at my old 85% seed score of 178.
My question is about what triggers a new seed scoreā¦
Is it a new 5mins raw Watts best?
Is it a new 5mins W/Kg best?
Is it a new unrefined Compound Score best value, from simply raw Watts x W/Kg?
Is it a new weight adjusted Compound Score best (lower weight giving smaller downward adjustment)?
Will they both not be rounded to 2.7 W/KG!?
Is there going to be a way to track other peopleās ZRS score in the near future? Or is there an alternate site that does that?
