is there a series table of flat is fast? where you can see how you stack up against everyone else who ran stage1?
you mean zwift power. ZwiftPower - Login
the sub groups don’t align with the groups for racing and only the overall GC i.e. 0-1000 shows riders.
feels like Zwift aren’t interested in GC for the lesser groups IMO.
but ZRS doesn’t really work for a meaningful GC anyway
for example, in CE only rides in the relevant Category counted towards the category GC
under ZRS you can ride in the highest tier hang on at the back of the bunch and record a time that would count in any category/tier without ever having raced in that group but having a score in that bracket.
Hello again
Perhaps you can also answer why it says that I only ran 1 race in the summary but have run 2 (perhaps it will take some time before this appears on the zwiftpower page?)

I appreciate we have two pen ranges alternating, but it sucks a bit that we cannot see the times of our rivals in at least the 100 point band ranges on the GC table at
I don’t see how this dual pen scenario is going to work.
I wish Zwift would have kept the Z racing series the same and allow the community race organizers to develop and provide the alternative.
Z Racing is trying to be a jack of all racing and master of none.
so it’s not because I’m new to zwift, which makes me think everything seems incredibly messy and disjointed
for the GC time, it take your best time.
I wish I knew, results seem to take ages to appear on zwift power. And the GC subgroups are still all blank
Maybe it’s impossible to carry over results from overlapping categories
Sorry for dumb question, but what GC mean ?
Hi Tom
I was always told there’s no such thing as a dumb question.
I take it to mean General Classification
So for this monthly series it’s our best time for each stage ( week) added up as we go.
Sorry if you already knew that bit
Maybe it needs some refining, not that I have any suggestions today, but the concept seems decent to me.
I discovered over the weekend that my 85% seed score under v3 is now 178. With the old default pen ranges (0-180 and 180-350), all it would take is one finish in the top ~55% of an event to move me from pen E to pen D and face a huge jump in the ability of my fellow racers.
But “range 2” gives me the option of pen E and a smaller stepping stone in ability of my opposition, where I stand a much better chance of not being dropped within the first few minutes or less if an incline is early on the route.
Maybe we could also have a “range 3” covering something roughly like…
0-185
185-310
310-435
435-560
560-700
So that besides those legitimately under 160, depending on the range, you can theoretically either be the pigeon or the statue (alternative phase to hammer/nail).
But do they just combine the 2 separate pens even though some racers can’t race in pen 1.
Is there a pen 1 GC and a pen 2 GC?
maybe the fastest times will be in pen 2.
It’s fine for scratch races and maybe fine for GC.
I’m just getting interested in GC so I’m not sure of all the nuances.
I get that the lower cats were wide and crowded but what is cat or group D?
Is it 160 -330?
Pen 1 is 160 - 270.
Pen 2 is 210 - 330.
Unless we need to just start thinking in terms of 5 separate eco systems.
I’m in the group D eco system and will bounce between pen 1&2.
A significant improvement or decrease in fitness will move me to group C or E.
Well that line of thinking appears incorrect.
I just checked and the pen 2 of group D over laps pen 1 of group C
I was told the same - with an extension “there are dumb answers only”
So, continuing with the GC conversation, if a D rider jumps into a B race and the draft pulls him along faster, does that count as a D time?
Maybe each ride should accumulate time based on the race and not the rider score.
That way, riders that overlap 2 cats won’t throw the GC off.
yes there is high D and Low D, so on for the cat’s!!!
