Poor Graphical Quality on Android

I also find it very sad that devices with such capabilites are just completely lacking adequate graphics in Zwift on Android. There is so much potential, and it would be so simple to just let people set the graphics themselves (at least in some kind of developer settings/mode).

Hope this will get adressed soon, as now, for many people, the Zwift-season begins again.

Hi everyone,

I started zwifting only recently, using my laptop initialy - no complaints. However, I figured that a tablet would be a nice upgrade to the zwift experience (not having to move the laptop around, screen a lot closer, touchscreen control etc.). I therefore bough the Zwift tablet holder as well as the current flagship Android tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra). While I didn’t buy the tablet for Zwift exclusively, it was most certainly a decisive factor.

Imagine my disappointment when I realized that despite the Android graphics update some time ago, the graphics quality is still absolutely abysmal compared to the Windows version (sorry for phrasing this so drastically, but this really was and still is my impression).

To paraphrase some other comment I read, this really feels like a missed opportunity. Modern Android tablets have so much power, I just cannot imagine they could not handle improved graphics…

-> I’m therefore quite eager to know: Are any further graphics quality upgraded planned for Android any time soon? Maybe the option to select a custom quality based on the system power available? The last update (as far as I can tell by looking at this thread) took place almost 1,5 years ago…

Any update on this topic (especially by Zwift employees) would be greatly appreciated!

Ride on!

Cheers

Chris
