We’ve got road bikes, time trial bikes, recumbents, Bikes wit broomsticks for handle bars (MTB), but we don’t have any gravel/endurance bikes, so what about adding some, especially considering some of the courses on Makuri Islands, which have very mixed surfaces
There’s more than a few gravel bikes and wheelsets available already.

Also the “sand” in Makuri rolls the same as pavement. The key is if you see a dust cloud being kicked up behind you, then you are on dirt where the gravel or MTBs are faster, otherwise a road bike is the best choice.
