Hi!
I would love to see interval averages in real time as an option so that I know what my average power for each interval is when I am doing a workout and if I should coast / push harder to achieve my watt goal!
Anyone finding their Wahoo kickr bike looses the steering function/gear selection?
I find when i lose it, i have to power off the bike and turn it back on.
First ride after update on iPad Air 5th gen. Did the New York Grand Central circuit and the graphics were extremely choppy. First time doing that route (Iâve only been zwifting for a few weeks). Never had choppy graphics like that before. using a Zwift ride and a heart rate monitor.
Hey, I use Kickr Bike Shift, so I donât fully know if there are any notable differences in firmware or hardware between both bikes but since I ride this bike I didnât have any issues with steering or gears. I run Zwift on MacOS and iOS, so maybe itâs platform specific problem?
Iâm having trouble logging into Zwift after this update. I enter my id and password and it starts to go through the âLog inâ process, but gets to the âLogin successful. Ride onâ message and just stays there as if is stuckâŚ
What about your other buttons (U turn, powerup use, manual tilt, manual flywheel brake).
Not having any issues here, so Iâm thinking this is a hardware issue on your side in particular.
If youâre losing connection to all hood functions, might want to disconnect them, and take some alcohol to the connectors and reinsert them.
What version of the Kickr do you have? I had a v1 and gearing was an HW fault/ issue. I swapped those for two refurbished V1s. Eventually they failed too. Wahoo thankfully upgraded me to a V2 16 months ago and itâs been rock solid since.
This update has been out for long enough that we would have heard more reports if this were a general problem related to the update. Try contacting Wahoo support and they should help you work through it.
How about taking this a step further and retroactively sign people up for the Everest Challenge?
Iâve had mine for several years so it doesnât necessarily affect me, but absolutely no reason to not give it to those people that have been riding for years without knowing the âsecretâ.
Thatâs what they are doing, provided the user has not selected a different challenge already. Or do you mean just give them the bike if theyâve done the elevation?
Yes. Count any elevation theyâve done to date toward the Everest Challenge as if that challenge had been selected since day 1. If theyâve logged enough elevation to get the Tron bike, then give them the bike. Tron is a legitimate competitive advantage in most any race - really makes no sense to withhold it because someone didnât have Zwift insider knowledge (see what I did there?) back when they started Zwifting.
In fact, why tie it to the challenge at all? Tie it to raw elevation achieved in game.
