Finished race but not appearing on ZwiftPower

I rode the ZRL Summer Showdown (ZwiftPower - Login) last night in ‘B’. After I got dropped by the wattmonsters, I saved up my matches to try for the FTS segment points on Libby Hill, which I managed to win in 1:14.4.

My laptop had a bit of a crash after I’d crossed the finish line, as I was saving the activity. I had thought that all was lost, but this morning it showed up on my ‘Activities’ list on ZwiftPower (albeit with the wrong time of day)…

…and on my Strava feed…

…but, while WTRL are crediting me with a finishing time, they haven’t assigned me any finishing points…

…and it’s not showing up on my ZwiftPower rides/races list (and I’m clearly not listed in the event results).

Is there any way this could be resolved? It doesn’t make a huge difference (but it should bump my team up in the league rankings!)

Thanks,

Tim

WTRL don’t use Zwiftpower, they take their data for timings and results directly from Zwift in real time. So you should ask your team captain to raise a query with WTRL about why you have a time but no points.

I don’t see you in the results on companion either so i suspect your laptop/wifi had a bit of a disconnect as you crossed the finish line so it has not recorded you as finishing the race although once it recovered itself it was enough to be able to save it as an activity.

As steve suggests I would ask your team captain to raise a support ticket directly to WTRL to see if there is anything they can do to assist.

By the way, if you want to talk about avoiding future crashes, please post the specs for the laptop. A screenshot from dxdiag would provide all the necessary information.

i had this happen to me once. WTRL can and will fix your points, but you’re better off making the ticket yourself and providing the strava link, activity .fit file (from zp), prolly throw in a screenshot of the activity for good measure. basically whatever data from the event you have. a dual recording, if you have one. you won’t get FIN points (well, i didn’t in my case) but FAL and FTS can be restored this way
