Drop Shop Trade In

(.) #1

Hi Zwift,
I was thinking of purchasing a new frame today after reading Zwiftinsider
and thought it would be a great idea to be able to trade in older or un-wanted
frames and wheels to offset the price of the new parts.

How about giving us say, 50% of the original purchase price for secondhand kit?

One careful owner, never been outside in the rain or dust… Never raced

Go on, you know it makes sense.

Cheers

According to the new ToS I don’t think that will happen:

  1. Restrictions . Virtual Items are non-returnable and non-refundable. Virtual Items cannot be resold, transferred for value, redeemed for cash or applied to any other account. We may limit the number of Virtual Items you can earn or use within certain periods of time or implement other restrictions on the receipt or use of Virtual Items. We may further restrict your ability to redeem your Virtual Items based on your place of residence.

Hi Paul,
I didn’t realise that idea was already dealt with.
Thanks for the quick reply.

I’m always being told to get rid of stuff I don’t use.
I think I’m on “one in, one out” at the moment in real life.
Doesn’t matter what it is shirt, shorts, bike, toothbrush etc …

Cheers

Agreed. I would love to be able to get ride of some of the frames/wheels that I never use for some drops. Then apply them toward some stuff I will actually use.
