Does anyone know if the new bike upgrade “drivetrain efficiency” alters the watts and W/kg recorded by Zwift? I upload my Zwift rides to a 3rd party platform to keep track of my training. I’d rather not have to account for an artificial change in power.
No, it won’t change your power.
It will alter the speed that zwift is calculating from your power input - you’ll go faster for the same power.
I understand it acts as a modification to the rolling resistance used in the calculation.

Thats correct, it alters the CRR (Coefficient of Rolling Resistance) of the bike.
The game has rolling resistance built into the physics. I bet it’s a minor reduction to that if anything over a stock ~95% efficiency of a clean standard, high end driver train.
