Cycling Levels 100+ and Run Level 30+ [April 2026]

We’re expanding progression in Zwift with more levels to chase for both cycling and running.

Cycling Updates

Cycling progression is getting a major expansion, with hundreds of levels now available beyond Level 100. Unlocks won’t continue past level 100, but stay tuned as we are discussing a high value unlock for level 200.

Riders who reach Level 100+ will earn a new orange Century stripe (visible in the Riders Nearby list).

XP Requirements

  • Levels 101–199: 20,000 XP per level
  • Levels 200–299: 21,000 XP per level
  • Levels 300+: 22,000 XP per level

Running Updates

Running levels are increasing from 30 to 50 total levels. Unlocks will now occur at major milestones rather than every level. Stay tuned to see what it will be.

XP Requirements

  • Levels 31–35: 9,000 XP per level
  • Levels 36–40: 10,000 XP per level
  • Levels 41–45: 11,000 XP per level
  • Levels 46–50: 12,000 XP per level

Accelerated Leveling

Any extra XP you have over 807,000 at level 100 for cycling or XP over 149,000 at level 30 for running is banked and applied toward accelerated leveling.

Cyclists with banked XP will accelerate through levels 4 times faster and runners will accelerate 2 times faster.

You’ll know accelerated leveling is active if you see the three-chevron icon next to your rider score on the in-game menu screen.
chevronlined

The level shown after the 3 chevrons indicates where accelerated leveling will end. Note: This level may adjust if you receive bonus XP from campaigns or quests, or outside activities.

runnericon Runners will see a similar UI in the in-game menu with rider score and XP until next level, but the triple chevron UI is currently only implemented for cycling.

Common Questions

Q: I’ve been Level 100 for a long time—will I jump to a higher level automatically?
A: No. However, you will level up at a faster rate (about 4x as fast as usual) to account for all the XP gained while at level 100.

Q: Will I see more XP per mile/km while accelerated?
A: No—XP per distance will remain the same (20 XP per km). The total XP required to get to the next level is reduced instead.

Q: If I’m below Level 100, will I notice any changes?
A: No changes to your current experience.

Q: Do I need to update my game?
A: Yes—make sure you’re on game version 1.112.0 or later to access the new levels.

We’re excited to give you more ways to progress and more goals to chase. See you out there!

@shooj Just give us the white Tron bike for level 200 please.

That is special when you see one in the wild so would be fitting for level 200

I’m glad they are enabling more levels. Still odd they are sticking with accellerated leveling vs. just putting people where they should be based on their experience. But also odd to me is the differences between level requirements 0-100 vs. 100-200 vs. 200-300 is so small (1000xp/level) that it doesn’t even seem worth the discrepancy. May as well just keep it at 20k, or make the levels above 200 much more than the +1000 xp difference.

Overall happy with the addition of new levels. The band is a nice addition, lots of ways they could have done it, this one seems good - though interested in how it scales to level 400+

There is a gold tron as well - I’ve seen it once. Very rare.

This would have been simple instead of forcing people to earn again what they already did for years. Folks on 5 million or more XP will take forever.

Freddie Ovett has one.

Basically white glow on a gold frame.

I’m level 90 with 770,053 XP. My 20% discount runs out at level 94 apparently (although level 98 is 771,000 XP so I’m not sure how it works).

Anyway, if I get 20% off levels 90-94, then I reckon it’ll take me around another 139,200 to get to level 100. That would put be on around 909,250 XP at level 100.

Presuming I’m correct and that’s the case, will I then go through that ~102,250XP (the next ~5 levels) at 4x the levelling rate?

To get what Freddie Ovett has, you have to do what Freddie Ovett has done.

Which platform are you using? AppleTV, Windows, MacOS, iPadOS or iOS etc?

MacMini M4

I’m also on 1.112.0 and level 100 and no stripe. MacOS Mac Studio M2 Max.

I don’t have it either - running on Windows 11.

If you know someone with a Zwift Ride you could probably just login to their Zwift while the Ride is connected and get it that way.

Level 200 could be Colnago C72 La Scala priced at 50,000,000 drops. The real bike is appropriately expensive as well.

A normal HFRD C72 would be nice, but Italian bikes in Zwift are usually not the fastest ones.

iPadOS and no orange stripe but getting accelerated leveling. Perhaps we will only get the stripe when we next level up (so when you go to level 101 if you are already on level 100)? Or it’s a bug.

Are you seeing anyone else with the orange stripe? I’m on 1.112 on both IPad and Windows and don’t yet see anyone with an orange stripe, not that I have spent more than 5-10 minutes watching. (I’m not on level 100 so no stripe for me yet anyway)
