Coasting on Zwift

Better not mix your bottles up when drinking. Also don’t tell the UCI or they’ll start insisting the pros carry “single use” bottles to reduce peelution.

I have taken a sharpie to both the former 5lb tub of protein powder and the vitamin water bottle so there is no possible confusion to be had. :sweat_smile:

The “no coasting” thing sucks, it’s unrealistic, and it makes long flat rides really difficult. There’s a “toggle auto braking” feature request thread here:

sucks but maybe required to remove the cheats from racing using micro burst technique.

Strange though if something has changed or they are trialling it without telling anyone

It’s easy to tell who is exploiting sticky watts or the micro bursts. That’s an easy DQ, why would you change the whole riding style that makes it even more unrealistic and difficult, especially for longer events?

because it’s very hard to identify what is or isn’t classed as microburst or not. Zwift won’t define it and are happy for riders to continue cheating in races it seems.

I quite agree for non races leave it as is.
