Baseline Fail?

well, like a total n00b I just completed the baseline but literally had not a clue of starting/ending the first and second segments [the climb I finally started to get the hang of OH IT MUST START HERE]… How important is this really? I’d love to avoid redoing the baseline ride for a slew of reasons but just asking.
