As IT Security specialist i can tell you, that banning white hat hackers is worst strategy for company. You should send thanks to him and ASAP remove option to change weight or height during activity.

Im not sure. As a sample, WTRL statement says that they know about this issue since 2 years and they have support from Zwift to find cheaters (different thing is that I don’t believe them, maybe Premiere League events was checked). But many communities were affected without any support. This is security by obscurity, worst security solution ever.
