I am looking to buy my partner an android tablet for his wattbike and to also use zwift on. Any recommendations on the best samsung tablets or others?

I can only recommend what NOT to buy. Amazon Fire tablets are not capable of running Zwift. My wife bought me a Fire 10 for the same reason you are planning, and it cannot run Zwift. Too many changes to the Android system to be compatible, I think? Zwift itself won’t even show up in the Amazon app store. I tried using Fire Toolbox to sideload the Google Play app store, and it cannot see or download it from there, either. The Zwift Companion runs on it just fine, but not Zwift itself.
